SYNOPSIS
Amid the turbulent landscapes of colonial India, a village lives in the shadow of constant fear of a haunted lake with a horrifying history buried in its depths. Destruction of a Nazi merchant ship, Ehrenfels, anchored at the Matgaon harbour by the “Calcutta Light Horse”, which was a cavalry regiment of the British Indian Army during the World War II, unleashes a treasure hunt that lures Ranganathan, a tyrannical influential person of the village and his loyal yet helpless servant Bongshi into the haunted lake, the maleficient pit of devilry. What follows is a descent into terror and fate where history, horror, and human frailty collide, leaving behind the chilling echo of the inhumed evil.
